Since its inception over a quarter of a century ago, Al Quran Academy Publications has always sought to publish the highest quality books. It has always endeavoured to bring its readers and followers books that have brought exciting innovation in a traditionally static industry using pioneering techniques and stimulating concepts and ideas. In continuing its work further, Al Quran Academy Publications is delighted to name a few of its exciting new titles that are currently in production:
- TARJUMAN AL QURAN – a marvellous commentary of the Holy Quran written by the famous Islamic scholar, theologian and politician, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Originally written in Urdu, this tafseer has been translated by Al Quran Academy Publications and is currently in the printing phase
- AL AMEEN – a detailed and descriptive biography of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) written by Rafique Dogar. This biography spans over 4 volumes and Al Quran Academy Publications has been translated it from the original Urdu version and it is currently in the pre-production phase.
- SIHAH SITTAH – originally referred to as ‘Al Kutub Al Sittah’, this collection is made up of the six authentic books of Hadith, the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The six authentic books are listed below;
Sahih Bukhari, collected by Imam Bukhari
Sahih Muslim, collected by Muslim b. al-Hajjaj
Sunan al-Nasa’i, collected by al-Nasa’i
Sunan Abu Dawood, collected by Abu Dawood
Jami al-Tirmidhi, collected by al-Tirmidhi
Sunan ibn Majah, collected by Ibn Majah
This is obviously a vast undertaking but, Alhamdulillah, Al Quran Academy Publications is already nearing completion of the first book, Sahih Bukhari.
